Frequently asked questions

Self-hosted is for teams that want full control over their infrastructure and deployment; you run Caution on your own stack under AGPLv3 and keep the enclave lifecycle in‑house. To self-host Caution without the AGPLv3 obligations, contact us at info@caution.co for commercial licensing.

Managed on-premises fits teams that prefer Caution to manage verifiable deployments in their own AWS account, keeping data and workloads in their environment while offloading day‑to‑day enclave lifecycle work.

Fully managed is for teams that want the fastest path to production, with Caution hosting and managing deployments end to end.

Early access includes everything you need to test and deploy reproducible enclaves on AWS Nitro in a non‑production setting. You get verified enclave deployments, a self‑guided onboarding flow, and a Linux x86_64 CLI, with new capabilities rolling out as we ship them.

Software in early access is still in alpha and not production ready, and we work closely with participants to validate workflows and shape the platform during development.

Learn more at alpha.caution.co.

Early access is intended for evaluation and experimentation, not production workloads. During alpha, we do not offer formal SLAs, and breaking changes may occur as we iterate on the platform.

That said, early access is well-suited for proof-of-concept deployments and testing. You can deploy real code and experience the full verifiable compute workflow. If you're exploring Caution for future production use, this is the right time to validate the fit.

To join early access, reach out to us at info@caution.co to request an alpha code. Once you have a code, you can register at alpha.caution.co on desktop.
