Use the hosted version in closed alpha

The hosted service is in closed alpha and will reach general availability in early 2026. It delivers the same functionality as the self-hosted version while removing the operational overhead of running the stack yourself.

If you want to evaluate Caution without managing your own infrastructure, you can join the early access program. Contact us at info@caution.co for details.

Frequently asked questions

Alpha access gives you an early version of Caution that you can use either through the hosted closed alpha program or by self-hosting the open source stack. At this stage, Caution supports AWS Nitro enclaves only.

The software is under active development and may introduce breaking changes. It is not recommended for production use. Alpha is intended for teams that want to experiment with verifiable compute, test the workflow end to end, understand how reproducible enclaves fit into their architecture, and collaborate with Caution to shape the future of verifiable compute.

No. The alpha is for evaluation and experimentation, not for high value production workloads. You can deploy real code and see the full verifiable compute workflow, but you should treat this as a testing environment.

The self-hosted version lets you run Caution on your own infrastructure under AGPLv3 or commercial license.

The hosted version delivers the same functionality as the self-hosted version while removing the operational overhead of running the stack yourself.
